Many have questioned what is the success behind standing out as a great Master of Ceremony, and in all, one may conclude that Confidence and Charisma will open doors, but Content and Carriage will leave windows, bolts, ribs and memory open to your next appearance.

Appearance sells your brand; a smile warms the heart and a pleasant voice fills the emotions with melody. Never be on the stage without these. Invest in them, for they are your life assets. A true Master of Ceremony is his trade.

While a clown can never be found in a suite, a Mc without Content, Clean Jokes and Poise to deliver the occasion, is like a clown in jumpy-jackets without jokes to thrill the audience.

1. Never say rude, political or religious based jokes; everyone has a passion in any of these topics
2. Be light hearted; the world is waiting on you (that’s serious enough)
3. Know thy content and sequence/delivery expected on the Program of Event (least you become the program itself)
4. Research your audience, you must appeal to the crowd (that’s branding)
5. Know your stage, lightening and projection (that’s positioning)
6. Concluding at any event, (with all seriousness), let your guest know the best about themselves (they just saw the best of you today)

Communicate in the language of the day, the Art of the Master of Ceremony dictates that you should raise the audience to the occasion, yet deliver as is expected of the Trade. Study  and prepare to meet the audience demographic, class and range.

Understand and pre-negotiate flow of stage performers and managers, especially the audio and video crew. As a Master of Ceremony, these are your greatest allies.

Practice your movements, lines, diction, tones, stand, voice modulation alone in front of a mirror or across an audience.
